Percent Change in Murders Using Firearms From 2010 to 2011


A positive percentage change means more murders using firearms.

Wow, Vermont looks terrible! 100% change! But, if you look at the map below, it only has 0.48 murders with firearms for every 100,000 people. So really, the map of percent change is useful to see trends for the region, but the map below (Murders With Firearms Per 100,000 People) is really what shows you the frequency of deaths due to firearms by region.
